CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE/INSIDE SALES

Douglas Manufacturing, a leading manufacturer of conveyor components and engineered solutions for bulk material handling applications, is looking for an experienced customer service representative/inside sales representative. This individual will be responsible for the promotion and sales of all Douglas products. This team member is responsible for taking customer information, entering quotes, processing orders and completing necessary documentation for shipments. They assist in the development of Distributors and Original Equipment Manufacturers, Engineering Firms and End Users. Routine customer contact in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Central and South America. The ideal candidate will be Bilingual in English & Spanish.
This team member must be able to professionally represent company products and develop customer relationships on a daily basis over the phone, operate a computer, enter quotes on a computer, convert orders and process all required paperwork to help ensure a smooth and trouble-free quote to order process for the customer.
Responsibilities relative to each assigned customer account include sales growth and quotation follow-up.
Establish a good communications and working rapport with internal and external customers to insure a high level of customer service is delivered to all assigned accounts.
Understand Douglas products and the mechanical applications in which they are used.
Proficiently use computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and e-mail.
Apply verbal and written communication skills to customers in English and Spanish.
Continually exhibit the qualities of trustworthiness, a strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
Manage and organize own work while remaining a team player.
Continually participate in additional training related to the Job.
Perform extra assignments in other areas and related task assignments in the work area.
Regular, consistent attendance, available to deal with daily issues during normal business hours, odd or extra hours will be required as needed.
